My ball players

We have been running around like crazy since baseball started. It is lots of fun but consumes at least 4 evenings a week, usually more. Colton and Cooper both got great coaches and are working really hard.  They played a few preseason games and then started the actual season this week. Colton is playing kid pitch and is #8 on the Oakland Athletic's team. They are a good group to watch. This is the age where it starts to get more serious so it makes for some exciting games. My Colton is a very laid back boy and not super competitive but he is more into this year. He is really enjoying it!

We played Colton's buddy Hayden's team in our first official game.
Cooper is playing coach pitch and is #3 on the Yankee's team. This is so much more fun for him than tball was last year. It is much more fun to watch too. He is really getting the hang of it. They have a good little team and are so cute out there.

This is Cooper with his good buddy Ian.
Things won't slow down anytime soon but I know they will get more and more exciting. Of course, there will be more baseball pictures to come. I love cheering on my boys!! I am their #1 fan!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! Happy to link up with Jaime for ...

I am loving the bluebonnets that have bloomed everywhere this year! Last year we didn't have any bloom at all. So sad, especially since it is a Texas tradition(well almost) to take pictures of your kiddos in a field of these beautiful blue flowers. Anyway, this year since we have had so much rain, we have tons of bluebonnets. So you know I had to get out there and get my boys' pictures. I am loving that my three little guys humor me and cooperate. I am loving that I got some great shots!!

I LOVE my handsome blond, brunette and redhead!

Have a great day!!!

Recognizing emotion

Sounds serious right? Well, sorry to disappoint ya but it is not. I just have a cute little tidbit to share about my Carter. He is so funny these days. All about pointing out the things he knows...colors, shapes, size and yes emotions.  The other day he saw this bag of dog treats for our dog and with such a sweet and serious voice he said,  "Oh no-- he's so sad! Poor puppy."

Love my sweet two year old!!

Whatanight!

Yesterday Cody and I headed to Kerrville for Matt and Jaclyn's wedding! First of all,we were able to meet some of our favorite friends for a wonderful lunch on the way there. Perfect way to start our time away. Then we got to the hotel(which a huge group of us stayed in), took a cat nap, got ready and then we all got on a shuttle that took us to the beautiful outdoor location. The wedding was so pretty...out by a gorgeous lake and a couple that were glowing with love.

Here we are in the beautiful setting....
The reception was so laid back and fun. This is the cake table with yummy cupcakes...
They also had a food truck that served such delicious stuff all night...

And there was a smores table--yummy!!

We danced the night away and had so much fun celebrating with the newlyweds and some of our best friends.

The beautiful bride!!
Laci and I--we didn't plan to match=)

LOVE my handsome hubby!!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bustos!!!
And I thought this was genius...as we boarded our shuttle back to the hotel at midnight, we saw this...
...a table full of tacos from Whataburger with a sign that said Whatanight! So clever right?!

After we got back to the hotel we hung out for a while. Then we all finally went to bed around 1:30am. We woke up this morning and a group of us met up to eat at Cracker Barrel.
I loved having a night away with my hubby and so much time with our friends. It was a great night and a perfect wedding!
Thanks Mama and Daddy for spoiling taking care of our boys so we could go enjoy ourselves!! They had a great time too!
We definitely missed our boys and this is how we spent our evening...
Excuse the weeds in the background. We have had lots of rain lately and not a lot of time at home. =)
SO happy to get home to my little men.

Kinder Rodeo

Cooper had his Kindergarten rodeo yesterday and I loved being there. It was a beautiful day so we got to enjoy playing the games outside. They played a target game, threw the frisbee, had potato sack races(which he loved) and dug for gold. So cute! They also did some cute crafts...made a paper bag bull, a Texas flag and an armadillo. It was a fun morning!  I think it is so funny that several moms commented to me that Cooper looked like a real cowboy. For him, it is not just a day to "dress like". He would dress like this everyday of his life if he could. He loves it all from the hat to the boots!

Love my handsome kinder cowboy!!!!
