15 Year Anniversary getaway!

Cody and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary on the 24th. We were able to getaway to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. We stayed at The Garza Blanca Resort. It was amazing! Our honeymoon suite was so nice! We had a gorgeous view with a hammock and jacuzzi on our balcony.

We got settled in and checked out the resort until our dinner reservation. My sweet hubby heard of a great restaurant called the Vista Grill so he made the reservation from home. It had a beautiful view and was a perfect place to watch the sunset.

The next morning we had breakfast and checked out some new parts of the resort. Then we headed into town and did some shopping on the boardwalk.

The next morning, Cody got up super early for a guided fishing trip. He caught a huge Marlin and two sailfish. It was a "bucket list" trip.

While he fished, I got a wonderful, two hour massage and then relaxed by the pool and on the beach.

That evening, we did an excursion called Rhythms of the Night. We took a boat to an island lit completely by candlelight and torches. There was a really neat show and delicious meal. Such a great night.

On our last evening, we had dinner at a restaurant in our hotel. It had a gorgeous view. We ate as the sun was setting. Delicious food and very romantic!

The morning we left, we spent sometime on the beach. Cody did some snorkeling while I got some sun.

We loved Puerto Vallarta!! The people were so kind and it was clean and safe.  I also can't say enough about the amazing resort! We had the best time!! Everything was beautiful and the service was topnotch. I am so grateful that Cody and I were able to getaway together. We had a perfect 15th anniversary! I look forward to many more blessed years with my hubby!!
Thanks to our parents, my brother and Laura, and Cody's brother Bobby and his wife Hillary for keeping  our boys while we were gone. We sure missed them but they had a great time with their grandparents and cousins!
