Last day of school!!!!!

WOW--I can't believe the end of the school year is already here! It has truly flown by. My boys have had a fabulous year! They have learned so much and had so much fun! They were both blessed with amazing teachers!
Here is a little flashback--- my boys have grown!

Anyway, I went to their parties on Thursday! Cooper's was a yummy pizza lunch and then a movie and popcorm. (They had a water balloon fight in the morning before the parents came)

Colton's party was so fun. They played all kinds of minute to win it games and they had root beer floats.

I really can't believe that I officially have a 1st grader and a 4th grader!
Just sooooo glad summer is here!!!!!!!!!!

Choir program

Last night officially wrapped up all of our evening activities for the Spring. The big boys had their church choir program and did a great job! For some reason the pictures I got of them in the group are not good. Their eyes are glowing! Oh well, I will post them anyway because it is all I got and I was so proud of them!!

They sang several great songs but they sang one of my favorites too-- "You Never Let Go."  Yes- I teared up! =)
Love watching my boys worship the Lord!

"I will sing unto the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my GOD as long as I live."

Cooper's season ends

Cooper played his last game of the season last night(it was a makeup game). He has had so much fun this Spring. He had a great coach (and several great assistant coach dads) and was on a good little team that worked really hard. He showed a lot of improvement as the season progressed and seems to love the game. All he wants to do these days is throw and catch a ball. Here are some shots of Coops in action...

Made it home=)

He had his team party party on Sunday. It was a swimming party with a great meal complete with some cute cupcakes. He had so much fun and got his long awaited trophy. He was a happy guy!!! He is already looking forward to next season!

Colton's season ends

Colton had his last baseball game last night. It was a good season! Although his team had a rough start, by the last few weeks they were looking pretty impressive. Here are some action shots of Colton playing ball.

On 3rd

I was going to crop this picture but I liked that you can see his coach off to the side ready to give  Colton five after he crosses home plate. =)
After the game, the coach gave them each a ball that was signed by everyone on the team. When he gave Colton his he said, "If this was the middle of the season I would have given Colton the cookie kid award since he always dancing around out there but now I give him the most improved player." He told him he was fun to have on the team because he didn't take it too seriously but he did good.
I have to say it has been so much fun to watch Colton improve this season. It is so nice to see the skills clicking. He started the season rarely if ever hitting to being moved to first in the batting line up. He became very consistent and really knocked the heck out of the ball. The best part is that he was excited and looked forward to doing it again every game! Nothing beats the look on his face when he would get a good hit! This smile says it all!

The trophies weren't in yet but I will add that picture as soon as we get it. He can't wait to put that on his shelf.

Field Day

With the end of the school year coming fast, we have had so much going on. Today was another fun filled day with my boys. Colton and Cooper had field day at school. It is a morning full of fun races and relays and even tug of war. They went to 8 or 9 different stations. (I couldn't  get pictures of all of them because I was trying to go back and forth between my boys' classes.) We lucked out and it was cloudy and breezy for a while before the sun really came out. It was pretty hot but they had a sponge relay that cooled them off. =) Both of my boys had a great time. I love watching them interact with their friends and I also like getting to know their friends better. My boys had a blast!!
This was harder then it looked.

Nothing like a good ol' potato sack race. =)

Great buddies
Riley, Cooper, Kyler and Bobby
This next relay was a favorite with all of the age groups. They have a big water filled sponge and they pass it over their head down the line, then the last kid rings it out into a bucket. The first class to fill the bucket wins. They were not as interested in filling the bucket as they were in getting wet. Who could blame them, it cooled them off! =)

Cooper's class

This next relay took a lot of teamwork. They had to work hard but they got faster and faster. It was so funny to listen to them yelling, "1,2,3 left. 1, 2,3 right." =)

Cousins/best buddies!!

The tug of war was fun to watch too. They kids were all so into it and the classes cheered each other on. So fun!

The lady at the end is Mrs.Cannon, Colton's teacher. She is  awesome!!

Colton and a fellow hard working tugger after the "war" ended.

Can't believe that next Friday is the last day of school!! WOOHOOOO!! We are so super ready for summer around here!
