Happy campers

This is Colton's 4th year to go to TBarM day camp and this year Cooper got to go for the first time. You have to have completed Kindergarten to go and so he has been patiently waiting.
Anyway, it was a fabulous week as usual, filled with games, swimming, bible lessons, the blob and friends. Most importantly they were learning to become M.A.C.s.
My boys would come home wiped out at the end of the day but they loved every minute of it! The days have a theme and although I didn't get pictures Tuesday(not sure how that happened), I did get some the other days.
Here they are on Monday, ready to get their week started...
See that happy glow? Wait that could be the sunscreen they are covered in. ;)

Cousins

Colton got to be in a group with his cousins/ two of his favorite people... Graham and Landon.

Cooper got to be in a group with two of his great buddies...Riley and Carson.

The theme on Wednesday was Hawaiian. Here are my boys ready to go...Aloha!

The theme on Thursday is Mission Impossible....

Game ready=)

Carter had to have some face paint too. =)

His mean face=)

Friday is the Alpha/Omega Challenge. Our family are Omegas so it is all blue for us...

Parents are invited to come to the meeting/closing ceremony in the sanctuary on the last day and see a little bit of what the kids have been up to during the week. I love watching this. Nothing like a huge group of young kids chanting and singing about the Lord! Then the group leaders give each camper in their group a certificate for the outstanding characteristic they saw in the camper during the week. Nothing makes a Mama happier than hearing someone brag on their babies. =) Once again my boys made their Daddy and I super proud!!
Cooper's outstanding characteristic was Joyfulness. His leader said that Cooper was always happy and excited to do things and had a big smile on his face all the time. That's my Coops!

John 15:11  I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

Colton's outstanding characteristic was Amiablity. His leaders said that he was easy going and respectful and a joy to be around. That's my Colty!

Micah 6:8  He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

I know I have said this every year but we LOVE this camp! They just seem to get it right!=)

Carter's Party

Notice the strawberry blond boy.=) Loved all the party printables I ordered off of Etsy. The lady was awesome to work with.
Carter has been talking about having his "swimming pool party" for months. So he was super excited when the day finally arrived. We had his party on Sunday, since he birthday was Monday. Anyway, it was at our neighborhood pool/clubhouse. It was laid back and fun with lots of our favorite people there.
We went simple with sandwich trays, chips and watermelon. And cake and ice cream of course.

Each table had a picture from his recent pics and a few party blowers

Carter really wanted a swimming pool cake. When we went to order it, he decided he needed a turtle too. So they added one in the "pool". It turned out so PERFECT and tasted yummy too!! I love Beyond Cake!

Notice the #3 lounging on the float. Too cute!
Carter loves the birthday song, especially when it is being sang to him, so he was beaming. Adorable!!

He dove right into his cake and of course had the piece with the turtle on it. =)

Everyone had a great time swimming on this super hot day!
