The Fair

We had a great time at the Fair! We spent Thursday evening running around with friends, riding lots of rides, eating fried foods and having tons of fun!

Colton, Landon, Ty, Cole and Cooper
Colton is my thrill seeker and wants to ride all the big rides. This Fire Ball ride was huge and takes the rider in fast circles and upside down. He did have to ride alone but he didn't mind. He loved it! The only bad thing..the girls around him cussed the whole way through the ride.=(

Western Day

In our school district, our kiddos are lucky enough to get a day off for our County Fair. The day before that is always Western Day at school. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their western clothes. Although, that is a pretty common attire for my boys, they rarely dress like that for school. (too hard with having to bring tennis shoes for P.E. and keeping shirts tucked in, etc.) Carter even had western day at his preschool. Here are my handsome cowboys in their getup...

Love them so!!!

Meet Ollie

Well, we got a cat. The boys have been begging for one for a while. We have had many people offer us a kitten. Cody and I have consistently agreed, " no thanks!"  But recently, our friend Matt said he had this cat that was so different and neat. A bobtail, two different colored eyes, extra toes on his feet and so sweet. Cody and I decided to surprise the boys. We were a little surprised when instead of a cat, we got a kitten. A very small kitten. One that can't yet be set free outside. Yikes! I did not want an inside cat but our little kitty will have to live inside until it can survive outside.
Anyway, he is VERY cute and VERY sweet. My boys are VERY much in love with him. Without further ado...here is Oliver Fluffington Mueller aka Ollie.

Okay, I will admit. I love him too! =)

Happy Grandparents Day!

My boys have the World's BEST grandparents! I just cannot imagine our lives without them! We had health scares with both of our dads this year and I am beyond grateful that they are still with us and doing so well! Mammy, Papa, Omi and Opi are always there for us and my boys love spending time with them. Their love for their grand kids is unconditional and obvious! We are so lucky to have them!!!

Friday, grandparents were invited to the elementary school to have breakfast with their grandchildren and tour the school, complete with a stop into their classrooms. Mammy and Omi were able to go do this. It meant the world to the boys!

Luckily, we still have Cody's grandmother with us. We love our Nana!!

Carter's First Day

Today was Carter's first day back to preschool. He is going to our church preschool again this year still just two days a week. He was ready and pretty excited to go this morning.
My big 4 year old!

I adore this face!

Silly boy!

He got two great teachers---Ms. Molly and Ms.Sandra. He loved them and had a great first day!

How cute is this bulletin board?

It is gonna be a wonderful year!!

On a side note: I started working at our church preschool this year. I am in the baby class so I will be taking care of babies ages 6-12 months. It just be two days a week also so Carter and I will be there together. I figured since I love the place and the people and Carter is there anyway, I would give it a try. Today was a good day--busy but good!

Bye, bye Minivan

Until last week, I drove a Honda Odyssey. We got it right before we had Carter.
She was good to us as we adjusted to life with three kids. ;)
Yes- I was a minivan Mama and I loved it!! It was so comfortable and practical. The doors sliding open at the push of a button was dreamy. I wasn't ready to get rid of it but it was starting to have some issues so the hubby thought the sooner the better.
I was all about getting another Odyssey and Cody was fine with that. But when we thought about how we couldn't ever pull a boat or trailer with it, we decided to get a bigger car that sits higher off the ground.

That leads me to my new car(well new to me, it is a 2010). It is a Royal Red Expedition EL. Which means it is the extended length--so extra cargo space. I do love driving it and it is so nice for our family. It has everything we need and more. The only hard thing is adjusting to the doors that open out again. The boys have actually sat and waited for me to push the button and open the door a few times. Those sliders really spoiled us. =) But we are loving our new ride!
