Cooper's program

Cooper's second grade program was last week and it was so cute. The theme was "And the Winner is...?"  and they sang songs that were nominated for or won Academy Awards. The kids were supposed to dress fancy as if they were going to an award ceremony. Cooper loves to dress up in a coat and tie so he was excited!

The program was adorable! They sang cute songs like "Let it Go", "Hakuna Matata", "You've Got a Friend in Me", "Route 66", "Beyond the Sea", "I'm a Believer" and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah". They did a great job!!

He did great with his speaking part!
Wish this picture was better but he was laughing at Colton singing along beside me.

Rodeo Time

Yay!! It's that time again. The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is back. We love going and luckily my mother in law gave us some tickets to see Tim McGraw on Saturday. The Rodeo itself was great and Tim McGraw was wonderful in concert. We all enjoyed it!

The weather was so nice that we were able to go ride the rides at the carnival for a little while. I took the big boys to one area to ride the bigger rides and Cody took Carter to the other side to ride things he was big enough for.

Cooper passed on riding this one with Colton.

They both rode this one. It spun it perfect circles for a long time.

When they got off, Colton needed a break. So Cooper rode the Sea Dragon by himself.

Then they were both back at it for this one...

 And this one...
This thing was going soooo fast and playing great music. Can see you Colton's with his arms up dancing? Poor Cooper was squished next to him. They loved it!
Meanwhile, Cody had Carter on the other side of the fairgrounds riding rides.
Starting to climb up
Ready to go...
Yay!!! SO fun!
On the ferris wheel...

It was a fun day!!

Dippin' Dots--I mean SNOW

Last night we actually got a decent amount of snow. School got delayed by two hours so the boys go to hang around and play in it this morning. The first thing they said was that it looked just like Dippin' Dots, the yummy ice cream we are always sure to get at Schlitterbahn. They even talked about flavoring ours. =)

They had a great time running around and throwing snow. Our "Dippin' Dots" were too dry to build a snowman but a few snowballs were made.

Camo Kitty--Wheres Ollie?

We sure enjoyed our snow and so far it hasn't all melted. But in true Texas weather style, we are expected have a high of 70 on Saturday. Gotta love it!
