Checked out well

Today we had Colton's 6 year well check. (I hadn't put this off. It was scheduled weeks ago but was moved because our Dr. got the flu.) I always love these appointments because we can see how much he has grown and know that we are on the right track. Luckily, he is right where he needs to be. Here are his stats:
Weight: 52 lbs
Height: 45 inches
Vision: 20/15
Hearing: passed
So hard to believe that just over six years ago he weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long. Wow...he has sure grown! =) Colton's favorite part was that he found out that not only did he not have to get a shot today, but he doesn't need any more shots until he is 11 years old!! Good news all around!

Gotta love this cheesy grin.

We're Halfway!

I had my 20 week appointment today (with my actual Doctor) and we got to see our little guy again. He was so precious! All is looking great and he is a healthy, active baby boy! We even caught him sucking his thumb. I guess he is already like his big brother Cooper. I attached a video of him in action. So cute I just had to share it!

Too Cute!

Love the way these pictures of Colton with Sparky tell a story. Sparky overpowers Cooper so getting one good picture is all I can ask for.

Forever the Queen!

My sweet hubby came home with a dozen pink roses yesterday afternoon. He said to the boys, "We have to make sure we always give Mama pink flowers since she will be the queen of the house forever." What a lucky lady I am to be his Queen and have three Princes to take care of and mold to be just like him!!

It's a .....

Cody and I had the opportunity, through a great church friend, to get an early sonogram. Since the suspense has been driving us nuts we jumped at the chance. (My actual doctor's appointment is next week. Shhhh.) SO- we found out we are having a....................BOY!! I will forever be the Queen of the House! =) He looks great! All looked healthy and he measured just as he should for 19 weeks. Colton and Cooper were thrilled. Colton definitely wanted a brother... he said no tea party for him. Cooper had been referring to the baby as a sister for weeks but didn't seem to care either way. I have to admit, I am a terrible person and I had a good cry. Not because I don't want this baby boy because of course I will love him to pieces and already do but because I know I will never have a daughter. That is a huge idea to let go of. Still, I definitely realize that we are so truly and richly blessed. I thank God each day for that!!! Here are some pictures of our cute little guy.

Here is his little face.

Here is the "package shot."

Here is his cute foot.
