Carter's birthday Celebration

Carter's birthday was pretty great! We had the traditional pancake breakfast, then he opened his presents. We headed to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch and he had lots of fun there.
Carter wanted to have a party at The Jumpy Place this year so that evening, that is what he got. It turned out great! His actual birthday was on a Wednesday and we were able to book a private party. It was so nice to have the place to ourselves. He and our family and a few close friends had so much fun jumping and running around. He loved every minute of it. I love that when he woke up the next morning he said, "Mama can you believe I am 5 years old?" He is the cutest!

Love my baby so much!!!!

Happy 5th birthday Carter!!

Today my baby turns 5!! How is that possible?!? Time just goes too fast! My Carter Wesley is still as precious as ever but much taller. =) He is so much fun and so smart! He still loves his Pooh Bears but needs them a lot less now. I love spending time with him and having him as my sidekick. He is a pretty good mix of his brothers...sometimes full of energy and non-stop and other times super mellow and laid back. He enjoys playing with Legos and games in general, he loves swimming and swinging on the swings. He gives the best hugs and kisses and tells great stories. He loves minions from Despicable Me and our cat Ollie.  I love how he will say things like "sunscream" instead of sunscreen and "crash cans" instead of trash cans and I love that he still says that he is my baby. His sweet smile and red hair are adorable as ever! Although he says his hair his orange and that happens to be his favorite color. Carter Wesley completed our family in the best way possible! He is pure joy and I am so thankful that God chose us to be his parents!!!

Happy birthday Carter Wesley!!!!

Summer fun

Our summer is already off to a busy start...
Both big boys are doing swim team this year. This is Colton's third year on the team and Cooper's first. I have said it before but I love the swim team motto but here it is again. "Better today than yesterday. Better tomorrow than today!" They had a swim meet the other day and it went really good. Both boys did well and worked really hard. They made us proud as usual.

While the boys were waiting for the turn to swim, Carter was playing and staying cool in the little pool right next to the Olympic pool.

Other than swim team, we have had a few day camps.
Cooper went to a baseball camp at the high school. It was taught by the high school coaches and some of the varsity players. It was only three days but he really enjoyed it and seemed to learn a lot.

Colton went to the Comal County Junior Deputy Academy.  He loved it! They got to learn so much! The local AirLife air-ambulance helicopter landed at the camp, the K-9 unit, the Fire Department, and Texas Parks and Wildlife all paid a visit to the camp. They learned the dangers of drugs and alcohol by wearing the fatal vision goggles and driving petal go-carts. They also went to the jail and saw the 911 call center in action. Colton really enjoy the whole week!

We are off to a fun start!! We love summer!!!

Father's day

My boys are so lucky!! They have the World's Best Daddy! He loves to be with them and is a wonderful role model of what a loving, Godly husband, father and man should be. They look up to him and love him so much! I couldn't have picked a better Daddy for my children!

I have always been a Daddy's girl. My dad has always been my Superman. Now he is also a wonderful Papa to my boys and they love being with him.

Cody's dad is so good to all of us and is an amazing Opi. My boys love being with him too!

I didn't get a picture of my boys with Opi on Father's day. =( But this is a great picture!
                                                     Happy Father's day!!!!

Summer is here

School is out!! Yay!!! We are so ready to have lots of days filled with swimming, playing, seeing friends, staying up late and sleeping in. After school on the last day, the boys and I went to Colton's friend Nick's house. We swam and ordered pizza. They had a great time!

The next day, we did our traditional first breakfast of summer at Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

That afternoon, we headed to the coast for the annual fishing tournament that my dad helps put on. We had a great long weekend(except that Cody had to leave a day early to be at all the graduations as a representing school board member) of swimming, fishing and playing in the sand. Unfortunately, I didn't take enough pictures and the beach was covered in seaweed but we still had a great little getaway.
