Cooper's field trip

Cooper's 2nd grade field trip was to Aquarena Springs. They used microscopes to check out what they found in the Springs.

Then they did the glass bottom boat tour...

Then we picnicked and played at the park.

Charlie's mom and I took Cooper and his two best buddies with us from the field trip and got a yummy treat!

It was a fun day!!!

Easter Fun

We had a great Easter. It was busy but wonderful! The boys woke up to lots of goodies in their Easter baskets.

Then it was off to church where we heard a wonderful message!

Then we spent lunch time at my in laws. The kiddos had fun and of course hunted some more eggs. =)

Then we headed to my parent's house for a yummy dinner and one last egg hunt. =)
(For some reason none of the egg hunting pics from here turned out)

It was a great day! Nothing better than family and Jesus!

Happy Easter

So thankful for the sacrifice that was made for us all!!!

I had to get that yearly picture with the Easter bunny. Once again Colton was a good sport and he just goes along without any whining. Thank goodness! We did wait a really long time this time but oh well. The picture turned out cute!

Wishing you a wonderful Easter with those you love most!!

God's Not Dead

Last night my hubby and I had a date night. (Thanks Mama and Daddy for keeping the boys!) We went to Alamo Drafthouse to see God's Not Dead. I highly recommend this movie. If you get a chance to see it--do it!! You will leave feeling so good and inspired to share your faith!

Willie Robertson and his wife had a small but good  role in the movie. We already like their show Duck Dynasty and love that they are so strong in sharing their beliefs.

Amen!!

The Newboys were featured in this film too. They showed a concert and it was awesome. I loved their music already and love them more now. Hoping to see their concert in May!!

GOD IS NOT DEAD!!!!

Cooper's bday celebration

Cooper had a great birthday! It was on a Friday morning and since he looks so forward to "Doughnut Friday" with my hubby, he chose to have that for breakfast instead of the traditional pancake breakfast. He did open some gifts before he left.

Cooper is all about Under Armour clothes, so he got a few outfits.

Then I took him lunch and a doughnut cake to school to share with his class.

He had a baseball game that night so we had a party the next day. He wanted to go to a movie and have a sleep over. We saw Rio 2 in 3D. It was pretty cute!

Then we headed home for pizza and cupcakes. The boys had a blast playing on the trampoline, throwing the football, running around and playing Cooper's new Xbox.

Carson, Charlie, Cooper, Ian and Cole

Silly boys. I love Carter off to the side in this picture.

The next morning, they were up and moving. A few boys left early and then Coop and a few boys went for a bike ride to the lake and played outside.

Cooper has such a great group of friends! The party was simple and so much fun! I am pretty sure my big 8 year old was happy!! Success!!
