VBS 2013

Vacation Bible School at our church was a few weeks ago and it is always so impressive. We are able to reach LOTS of kids and in such an organized way. We had over 800 kids come through there this year and it was AwEsOmE!! My boys had a great week! This was Carter's first year to be in actual group and he loved it! Everyday they all learned a great bible lesson, made a fun craft, played games and had a yummy snack. I am part of the snack crew so at times it is crazy but we enjoy it! It is a great way to serve. It was a fun week spent learning about the Lord and having fun! Can't ask for much more than that!

Girls Getaway

Last weekend, I got to a chance to getaway and relax with three of my favorite ladies and it was wonderful! We drove to Houston and stayed at the Four Seasons. We had delicious, long dinners, got relaxing massages at the spa, slept in, ordered room service, napped, laid by the pool, danced one night away and saw Wicked!!!
4 girls, three nights, a lot of stuff!

At the Grove--one of the best meals I have ever had!

My favorite pic from the trip

Wicked was AMAZING!!! I have to take my mom to see it!

It was just what the four of us needed...a chance to recharge and come back energized for our 12 kiddos!! So grateful for these ladies and the bond we share. Also, very grateful for our amazing hubbies who encourage us to getaway and take care of our babies while we are gone.
Of course, it is always so sweet to come home to this...

Lots of snuggling from my boys!!

3 teeth in a week!!

At Cooper's dental checkup early this summer, I expressed some concern about how many teeth Cooper had lost. He had only lost two bottom teeth and they were both last July. The dentist assured me that it was normal and no need to worry.
Sure enough my big 7 year old has lost 3 teeth in the last week. Crazy! He looks so grown up and is so happy that he got some good money from the tooth fairy!

Cute, holey grin!!

14 years

On this day 14 years ago, I married the man GOD meant for me! We have been so blessed in our life together. I wouldn't want to share my days and nights with anyone else in the world! Happy 14th Anniversary Cody Mueller!

Carter's swim lessons

This was Carter's first summer to do group swim lessons(he has done private lessons in the past) and he did great! He was so excited to go because he got to be in a group with his best buddy Ryan. Anyway, he learned so much! He had never done anything in the pool without a floatie. By the end of the 7 days, he could swim underwater for a good distance, float on his back and do a little backstroke(not much arms) ALL by HIMSELF-- Impressive!!!

Best buddies!!

SO proud of my baby!!

P.S. He still prefers the comfort and security of a floatie and I am completely okay with that. =)

Circus

We spent last Sunday afternoon having fun at the Greatest Show on Earth.  The Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus was in town and I realized that Cooper and Carter had never been. Colton had gone when he was about 3-- a long time ago. It was definitely time to go back! My hubby was kind enough to buy some last minute tickets.

Pegasus

The tigers

The elephants-- Carter thought they represented the five of us =)

This next part was my favorite. These covered balls were hanging from the ceiling for a while. Then the cover dropped and there were acrobats that performed in them. So cool!

The theme of the circus was Dragons- which Colton loves. The whole concept was that dragon's spirit is made of courage, strength, wisdom and heart. It actually had a good message.

8 motorcycles in the steel ball!
So glad we were able to make it to the show! We had a great time!
