My Favorite Time of the Day

Each night after the boys have bathed and brushed their teeth, they pick out a book and run to Colton's room. The four of us pile in his full size bed and Daddy or I read the book of choice. We all settle in and after some rearranging we usually fall asleep there together. Cody is usually the first to drift off (it is kind of scary how quickly he can do that), next goes Colton, Cooper and I are the last to go to sleep. As I lay there each night, I can't help but feel so completely fulfilled and content snuggled up with my three favorite people in the whole world.

P.S. I haven't blogged in a while because our computer has had issues for about a week and we couldn't access the internet. No online banking, no blogging, no Facebook, and no shopping....no fun. Man am I spoiled. Anyway, after 3 long hours on the phone with computer people I am reconnected. Yeah!!

Cooper's morning

Cooper is all about being a big boy these days so he was pretty upset when Cody and Colton left for the deer lease on Friday evening without him. In an effort to make up for it, Saturday was all about him. We spent the morning at the Children's Museum in New Braunfels and he had so much fun. I was able to follow his every whim and just be completely focused on what he wanted to do. He did everything....he fished, dressed up as an astronaut and a doctor(in his John Deere hat of course), he painted a car, shopped, climbed, and the list goes on. We had a great time and I have to say it was pretty easy to keep up with just one little guy. Now I just have to figure out what to do this weekend when the big boys head out to the lease again. =)

What summer will bring

Well, this July we will have more excitement than the usual fireworks. I am due with Baby #3 on July 1st. We are so excited! We got to see the precious little heartbeat for the first time today. It was going strong and all looks like it should for 7 weeks along. Of course, it resembles a gummy bear but that is what is considered normal for this stage. =) We are already in love.
It will be 13 long weeks before we know whether Colton & Cooper will have one more to fight with or one to fight for. We just pray for a healthy one.
Here is little Gummy Bear Mueller.....

It was fun to tell the boys the news tonight and they were very excited too. Colton said he would rather have a brother because he doesn't want to play tea party. He was so thrilled to share his news and really surprised me with how excited he was. We gave them both little calendars with a baby sticker on the due date so they can countdown to the big day. Once Cooper got his John Deere calendar he was much more interested in the tractors on it than anything else. Although he does refer to the baby as "Sheriff." Colton couldn't wait to hang his puppy calendar on his bulletin board. As he did, he said " I feel like we have the best family in the whole world." Where he comes up with this stuff I have no idea but I love it!

My BIG Boy

Colton rides the bus home three days a week and he loves it. He gets out of school at 2:45 and is dropped off right at our driveway by 3:20. It really couldn't get much better. But it is just one more thing that makes him seem so grown up. Hard to believe he is a kindergartner and a big bus rider too. I thank God for what a wonderful boy he is but time flies by way too fast!

Look at my face

Here is a little conversation that took place while we were driving to school:
Cooper: "Mama-you are the best Mama in the whole world."
Me: "You and Colton are the best boys in the whole world."
Cooper: " No-we're mean."
Me: "No you are not!"
Cooper: "Yes- we are, look at my mean face."
Here it is...
I could eat him up!

Halloween Night

We had so much fun on Halloween night. We had a fun bunch of kiddos over for dinner and they enjoyed some playtime in the backyard. Then we jumped on the hayride Opi had ready for us and we rode through the neighborhood trick-or-treating. My boys loved every festive minute and they made a haul. We are still waiting for them to come down from their sugar high. =)
