Wonderful, long weekend

We had a busy and fun weekend. Cody and I started it off with a concert at Whitewater amphitheater to see Reckless Kelly. It was a really good concert! Lynn and Jason and Karla were with us and we had a great time! We caught the guitar pick that the lead singer threw and gave it to Cooper. He quickly put it to work laying songs on his guitar. The first one he wrote--"Big bucks don't grow in town." Yep- he is his Daddy's clone. =)  (sorry the two next pics were taken with my phone)

Saturday we spent time around the house getting caught up on things. Cody was mowing the yard and realized Colton was tall enough to reach the petals so guess who we put to work.=) He actually enjoyed it and did a great job!

Then we spent the evening at the Missions game with Cody's coworkers. Great food, great people, great game and it was wrapped up with great fireworks! So much fun!

Sunday, we slept in a little but made it to late church. Then we had lunch, got the boys haircuts and got groceries all before nap time. Colton and Cooper got mini spikes for their new haircuts. Carter just got a trim. Nothing dramatic but the big boys needed pictures of their summer dos. =)

We spent the evening at my parents having fun outside, eating yummy steaks and then all watching a movie together. (No pictures, I was relaxing) I love evenings with my parents!!!

We had a great day on Monday with some of our favorite friends on Memorial day. Matt and Jaclyn had us over to their beautiful, new home for some hot dogs. They have a fabulous pool that my boys loved swimming in for the majority of the four hours we were there. They were wiped out!

I could keep adding pictures but this post is getting long so I will stop there. Hope your long weekend was wonderful too!

Last day of school!!!!!

WOW--I can't believe the end of the school year is already here! It has truly flown by. My boys have had a fabulous year! They have learned so much and had so much fun! They were both blessed with amazing teachers!
Here is a little flashback--- my boys have grown!

Anyway, I went to their parties on Thursday! Cooper's was a yummy pizza lunch and then a movie and popcorm. (They had a water balloon fight in the morning before the parents came)

Colton's party was so fun. They played all kinds of minute to win it games and they had root beer floats.

I really can't believe that I officially have a 1st grader and a 4th grader!
Just sooooo glad summer is here!!!!!!!!!!

Choir program

Last night officially wrapped up all of our evening activities for the Spring. The big boys had their church choir program and did a great job! For some reason the pictures I got of them in the group are not good. Their eyes are glowing! Oh well, I will post them anyway because it is all I got and I was so proud of them!!

They sang several great songs but they sang one of my favorites too-- "You Never Let Go."  Yes- I teared up! =)
Love watching my boys worship the Lord!

"I will sing unto the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my GOD as long as I live."

Cooper's season ends

Cooper played his last game of the season last night(it was a makeup game). He has had so much fun this Spring. He had a great coach (and several great assistant coach dads) and was on a good little team that worked really hard. He showed a lot of improvement as the season progressed and seems to love the game. All he wants to do these days is throw and catch a ball. Here are some shots of Coops in action...

Made it home=)

He had his team party party on Sunday. It was a swimming party with a great meal complete with some cute cupcakes. He had so much fun and got his long awaited trophy. He was a happy guy!!! He is already looking forward to next season!
