3 months

Hard to believe but my Carter is 3 months old today. He is just the sweetest thing! His smile is adorable and his laugh will bring tears to your eyes. He can really giggle now. He sleeps 10 to 11 hours nights. My little red head is getting so big...weighing over 18 lbs and wearing 9 month clothes. I love to hold him and talk to him because he stares right into my eyes and grins. I really couldn't ask for a better or more content baby! I have to say, I am wishing time would slow down. My boys are getting too big way too fast!! I am cherishing every minute!

Oh Cooper!

Here are a few of the latest things Cooper has said:
**Cooper went through a little phase a couple of months ago where he cut his hair, twice. Cody told him if he did it again that he would shave his head. ( Like I would let that happen. ) Anyway, last week Cooper saw a bald man on TV and said "Mama- that guy must have been cutting his own hair so his Daddy shaved it all off."

**The other day I was nursing Carter and he kind of refused to eat on one side. Cooper says "Mama, I think that Boobie ran out of milk. "

Oh Cooper! He is such a funny and smart little guy!

Fun at the park

We had a great time at the park yesterday. Cooper got a chance to feed the ducks and he loved that. There were two that came to us for our bread and Cooper said he thought they were brothers. So cute!! This was the first time we had been to the park since they built the new play area. Cooper loved it. Mammy came along and that always makes it more fun. (she is such a big help to me.) My sweet Carter was a content and happy boy as usual. He just hung out. Aunt Laura brought Luke and he and Cooper had a chance to play. It was a great morning!

Important people

There are four important people that...
we can always call on,
we can always talk to,
will always make us smile,
we love to be around,
would bend over backwards for us,
would give us the shirt off their back,
make us all feel special,
are always there for us,
spoil our boys rotten,
love us unconditionally,
we are so lucky to have,
we love with our whole hearts, and that
we would be lost without! Here they are! Happy Grandparent's Day!

Grades

Colton had his first Spelling test on Friday and he made a 100. This was also his first actual number grade. He is off to a great start! So proud of him!

Lazy Sundays

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. We start out with going to church and having lunch. Then the rest of the day is spent playing outside, napping and being with family. I always want these days to be longer. Today while Cooper and Carter were napping, Cody and Colton were outside throwing the football around. I had to take a few photos. Good times!

A bump in the night

Cooper fell off the bed in the middle of the night on Thursday. I woke up at 2:45am because I heard him crying. Of course I jumped up and ran. I met him in the kitchen with blood running down his chin. He had fallen off of the bed and hit the wood that makes up the sides of the bed. He must have hit it hard because check out the damage it did to his lip and chin. My poor baby!!

Complete opposites

Today we were on our way to school when this conversation took place:
Colton: "Mama-when I grow up I want to be a playground designer."
Me: "That would be a really neat job."
Cooper: "When I grow up I want to be a police officer and I'm gonna arrest Bubba!"
I am constantly surprised by how completely different Colton and Cooper are. I so love that they have their own, very unique personalities. They sure do make life fun!

Pictures

I have been wanting to post these pictures on here for a while but some of them were being put on Carter's birth announcement so I wanted to wait until after those got sent out. (They were very delayed due to a printing problem that the lady who did them had. )
Anyway, my good friend Misti took these shots. She has started a photography business, Misti Moments, and I would highly recommend her. Her photography blog is on my blog list. Check it out!
