8 months

Wow- my baby is really 8 months already. He is so much fun...lots of grinning and giggling, bouncing and babbling! He is really enjoying his baby food and some very squishy table food now. Carter is still tipping the scale in size...he has officially moved to 18 month clothes. The only negative thing is that he has had two ear infections in the last two months. I am really hoping that will be it for a long while. Our boy is quite the cuddler and keeps us smiling from ear to ear! He is PRECIOUS in every way!!

       







                                 

Snow

Yes- we got a little bit of snow today! Not enough to stick and build the snowman my boys and I had planned for, but some flurries for sure. Cooper enjoyed being out in it and trying to catch some on his tongue. Poor Colton was home sick from school today and just didn't feel like getting out in it. He just checked it out from the window. Still, the flakes were fun while they lasted.  Hope tomorrow is fever free!

Field Trip

Last week was Colton's 1st grade field trip to the Rodeo. They got a chance to take the school tour through the grounds. I was assigned Colton and two other kids to keep track of. They were a sweet group. We got a quick lesson on dairy products complete with an ice cream cone. Then we wandered through a few neat instructional areas, enjoyed the petting zoo, played on some inflatables, and watched a quick little cowboy show. After lunch and a fun, beautiful day, they headed back to school. Here are a few pictures from our day!

                 

Scruba dub dub...

Carter is in the tub.=) Of course he has been in the tub many times before but always sitting in the baby tub inside of the big tub. So he wasn't ever really sitting in much water. But now we put him in the little seat we have for the tub and he gets to really enjoy the water. He loves splashing and enjoys looking into the water at his hands and feet. Oh and he really likes putting the toys in his mouth.  Soooo cute!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Never gets old.

I was just thinking the other day about how no matter how many kids you have the little milestones are still so exciting. My sweet Carter is getting his first tooth. Even though this is the 3rd first tooth I have experienced- it was so big for me. The moment I noticed a little bit of white poking through his gums I had to smile. Then I praised him for getting his first tooth, telling him that I knew how much hard work that took from him. =) It isn't even all the way in yet but I see it and that is all that matters. Amazing how those moments never get old!

These pictures don't show his little chomper but rest assured, I will post pictures of it as soon as it can be seen. =)

Rodeo

We love the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo!! Luckily, Cody was given some tickets to tonight's performance so we took Colton and Cooper. (Carter stayed home to relax-thanks Mammy!) It was an Extreme Bulls night and that is always exciting. Also, they had two rounds of Mutton Bustin' and we love that! We stayed for the beginning of the concert. It was a new artist-Randy Houser. He is pretty good, it was just getting late for the boys. We had a great time!! Here are a few pictures of my handsome little cowboys.
