Rock the baby

Here is a picture of my boys trying out the new glider I got. They were singing "Rock-a-bye-baby" to each other and giggling like crazy! They crack me up!!

A great trip!

We had such a great time on our Spring Break getaway. The Great Wolf Lodge is a perfect family vacation. Cody and I would recommend it to anyone we know. The boys loved everything!! From the start, they were so impressed with the hotel room and how it was their own camp complete with bunk beds. The water park was a huge hit and we spent many hours enjoying the wave pool, tube rides, slides and pools. When we weren't in the water we played the Magi Quest game. It was this awesome interactive game that led you through the hotel with magic wands and it was a great adventure! There was also an arcade in the resort that we just had to spend sometime in. One afternoon we hung out for a short time in the Cub Club. It was a little club where the kids could make a craft, color or whatever. We did make a trip to eat at the Rainforest Cafe in the Grapevine Mills mall on our last night there. From fun in the water, to story time at night, to an ice cream shop, to an arcade-- this place had it all. I know we will go back someday. Probably when Baby #3 can enjoy some fun too. We were so sad to come home and I can't believe that Spring Break is about to end. Tonight we went to see Monsters vs. Aliens. Colton has been beside himself waiting for that movie to come out so we squeezed that in as the last spring break activity. It was hilarious! We all four loved it! Hope your Spring Break was a great time for you. Back to the old routine we go! Bummer! At least we have tons of great memories to take with us!

Spring Break!!

Yay!! Spring Break is here and I couldn't be happier! Colton is out of school all week. So instead of getting him up when it is still dark outside and missing him all day, we get to take a trip. My hubby has the rest of the week off so tomorrow morning we are headed to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. It is huge indoor water park resort with themed hotel rooms. The boys picked the room that has a kid camp theme. They are beside themselves with excitement to go on "Spring Break." I love the times when the four of us have several days worth of quality time. Those times when laundry, cooking, cleaning, or yard work can't detour us from just having fun together. Of course, I can't wait to take lots of pictures of my boys having a blast!!
The only not fun part is that I will have to wear a swimsuit...it will not be pretty!
We will be driving our new minivan. Well, new to us. It may not be the coolest ride but it is super comfy and so practical. The boys and I love it! Cody knows it was a good purchase but it was not his vehicle of choice. What a nice guy to let Mama choose. =)
I will make up for the lack of pictures in this post with the tons I will have when we get home.
Happy Spring Break!!!

What a relief!

I am officially 25 weeks pregnant this week. When I went to my appointment last week the baby was measuring two weeks ahead. I was worried that I may have gestational diabetes. I did my test on Tuesday and found out that I do NOT have it. Thank God! It was such a relief to hear that. Day to day watching my diet and not having my sweets would've been a huge challenge for me. I guess this baby is just going to be big!

Our Chicken Little

Here is Cooper with his Papa. He is wearing Papa's glasses and working on his calculator. Our little guy wants to play with anything that belongs to an adult...glasses, cell phones, pocketknives, chapstick, etc. Really he just wants to fill his pockets with our stuff. He wishes his pajamas had pockets. He is our perfect mess! Don't you think he looks like Chicken Little in this picture?

Yeehaw!

Today was the Kinder Rodeo at Colton's school and he had so much fun! The weather forced them to have it inside but the kiddos didn't seem to care. Colton's favorite activities were pining for gold, riding a stick horse, throwing horseshoes, and painting an armadillo and a bluebonnet. It was a great day! Here are a few pictures of my little
cowboy at the festivities.
