He is sitting up so well now and he loves to play with his feet. (although he wouldn't grab them for a picture) I loved this outfit and we threw in his Pooh bear because he looves it. He cuddles it and buries his face in it when he is tired and ready to go to sleep. He is also starting to make funny faces and cute noises. These shots show his exact stage of life...a stage I adore and am enjoying every minute of!!

Birthday Fun!
Colton had a great 7th birthday! We had the traditional pancake breakfast, Cooper and I took him lunch to school, and that evening we had our families over for a little pizza and birthday cake. It was a nice evening.
Then on Saturday he had his movie party. The theater had his name on the marquee sign, the kids got a tour of the projector room(did you know that a movie is about 2 miles of film?), they played a few arcade games, he got to start the movie and we were served popcorn and drinks. Then we watched "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel." The movie was adorable and the party was a hit. I had one happy 7 year old boy--Mission Accomplished!!

SEVEN!!
I can NOT believe that my first baby is seven years old!! Where does the time go?
My Colton Wyatt is getting to be such a big and mature guy but he can be super silly too. I love to hear him laugh and he loves to make us laugh. I love his cute smile...it lights up his lightly freckled face. He is working hard and doing great in first grade. He is becoming quite the little reader. Lately, I find myself sitting with him and having these great conversations. He is such a bright and funny boy. He gives me the best hugs and kisses. (I dread the day that he gets too big for that.) He is still very affectionate and so sweet to his Mama. As a big brother, he is wonderful! He loves to talk to Carter and make him giggle. Even though he and Cooper bicker, he is very protective of him and they sure have lots of fun. Riding his bike, drawing, making things, riding his scooter, watching movies, climbing trees and playing the Wii are his favorite things right now. Oh- he also loves his dog and his hamster. I just looove this boy to pieces and I am so very proud of the little man he is!
Happy 7th Birthday Colton Wyatt!!!

So Proud!
Colton's class is learning about professions right now and they asked if any parents would be willing to come and talk about their job. My sweet hubby gladly volunteered. He did so good engaging those kiddos. He had a cute little activity with some funny pictures that brought it to a first grade level of understanding. I could tell how proud Colton was of his Daddy. I was very proud of him too! Of course, I went along and took a few pictures.

Oh this boy...
I am talking about my Cooper. He is my middle child, my love bug, my social guy, "just like Daddy" boy and my perfect MESS. He is full of it and into everything right now. I mean everything!! Whenever he realizes I am not in the room, he goes to work to find something to get into. He is in drawers, on stools, in closets, in cabinets, digging in the freezer or searching the pantry. Here are just a few of his latest antics:
**First, he has a nice wood height chart made by friend to match his room. It WAS bolted to the wall. The other day Colton comes in carrying this and tells me "Look what Cooper pulled off the wall." Cooper's response, "I told you I was strong Bubba!" So now, there is a nice hole that needs to be repaired.
**Next, after I gave him a bowl of popcorn he asked me if we could make popcorn balls with honey like we read about in a book. I told him- not today, honey is messy and I would rather he just eat his popcorn without it. Well, I left the room and came back to find Cooper, in the living room, with the bottle of honey, squirting it all over his bowl of popcorn. Lucky for him, it was not yet on the carpet and our couches are leather. It was on the couch, the coffee table and all over his hands. Not good.
**Then, if you know my Cooper he wants to be just like his Daddy. He wants to hunt, carry a pocket knife, wants a gun, a cell phone--you get it. Well, he would find any sharp thing Cody had around and want to "hold it." So we began putting these things on the top of the fridge. Well, I came into the kitchen one day to find him standing on top of a bar stool getting a pocket knife off the fridge. Needless to say the knives and other objects are all hidden in a secret location and that is driving him nuts.
Just a few examples of my middle guy! He sure keeps life fun!

Hello 2010!!
It went by too fast the year 2009,
Lucky for us it was filled with good times,
We welcomed a third sweet, healthy boy,
He has filled our lives with immeasurable joy!
We went out and got the "ol mini van",
We need to be practical wherever we can.
We've been able to travel to a few fun places,
And seen big toothy grins on cute little faces.
There's been bikes and scooters and learning to read,
And all of the love that we'll ever need!
Wow this year has flown by way too fast,
But we've made memories that are sure to last.
The Mueller five are ready for the year to begin,
So lookout! Here we come 2010!!!
Happy New Year!
Well, 2009 will be hard to top considering we received one of the best gifts we could ever get....our Carter Wesley. It has been a wonderful year full of adjustments, excitement, love and fun. We have happily adjusted
to being a family of five and it hasn't been hard since our Carty is so sweet. The big boys love being his big brother, I love being the mother of three boys, Cody is happy to scoop up his wild boys at the end of the day and Carter seems to like it here. =) We have been able to get away together, snuggle by the fire together, hunt together(well Carter and I just sat in the trailer), worship together and laugh together. I am very proud of my family and feel immensely blessed.
I have a few resolutions for myself though:
First, I have got to shed these baby pounds. I am getting back to Jenny Craig asap and going to do it right.
Second, I am going to get active. I am excited to hook up my Wii Fit and get busy. I got the Biggest Loser game so I am hoping to get in shape.
Third, I am going to get organized. I can honestly say that this is where I have noticed that having three kids has affected me most(other than the saggy body parts). The laundry takes over and picking up the house can be a full time job. So time for me to get to work. =)
Lastly, I am going to stop and drop everything more often. When my boys say "Mama will you sit with me and watch this show? Will you push me on the swings? or Watch me do this. " I am going to drop everything(dishes, the phone, the computer) and show them how important they are. The little things are what make us who we are and knowing that their Mama will validate and actively participate in even the small things they do, will keep them feeling loved, secure and confident. (That is just my opinion.)
Anyway, I look forward to all that is in store for us in 2010. I wish for you what I pray for my kids each night. --That you are happy and healthy, safe and secure and that you always know how much you are loved by your family and the Lord above. --Amen.
Happy, Happy New Year!!
