Cooper's birthday morning

On Cooper's actual birthday, we woke him up and then Colton gave him a piggy back ride to the table for breakfast. We sang to him and had the traditional birthday pancakes. Look at this cute 6 year old...

Then just before heading to school, he opened a few things we got him.

What better to get a little cowboy than a leather stamping kit?

He is all into fishing these days so we got him some fun supplies to add to his tackle box. 

This has a scale, pliers, fishing clippers and sissors.

The birthday boy's morning started off pretty good. I wish I could have kept him with me all day but since he had school, I took him lunch and cupcakes for his class.

His big party was planned for Sunday.

I have three wild and wonderful little boys! I am a girly girl so I never thought that I wouldn't have a girl of my own someday but I wouldn't change who God gave me for ANYTHING! They are the perfect little men for Cody and I! Let me introduce you to my biggest blessings...


This is Colton Wyatt. He is 9 years old. He's super smart, a rule follower, funny,  an aspiring artist, loving, has a smile that is contagious, sweet, a fan of itunes(adding apps for his itouch) and is a great big brother!

This is Cooper Wiley. He is 6 years old. He's super curious, very social, smart, an aspiring cowboy, funny, loving, a fan of all things outdoors, has eyes that tell a story and is a great middle brother!!

This is Carter Wesley. He is 2 years old. He's super funny, so smart, has the sweetest spirit, has a face you gotta kiss, aspiring  GQ model(just a joke because everyone loves his hair), a fan of his big brothers, a great cuddler and is a precious baby brother.

I am knee deep in toy cars, Legos, play weapons, baseball, Nerf guns, dragons, dinosaurs, anything blue or camo and I LOVE it!!

As my husband says, I am forever the queen of this house! I am one lucky lady!!!!

Cooper is 6!!!

My middle baby turns 6 today!! I can hardly believe it!! Time is going too fast! 

My Cooper is a smart, social, funny, energetic, curious, handsome, loving Kindergartner! He loves to talk, sing, hunt, fish, ride his scooter, dance, piddle in the garage, talk, follow his Daddy, cuddle with his Mama, talk,  pick out his own clothes, ride his bike, make things, get dirty, be with his brothers, oh and did I say talk? This boy truly does keep us on our toes and keeps a smile on our faces! He has eyes that tell a story and looking into them makes me feel like the luckiest Mama in the world! He is so much fun to be with and I love him with all of my heart! I thank God for him each day and I am so proud to be his Mama!!!

He IS Risen!!

John 11:25-26 
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

We had such a wonderful Easter day!! The boys started out with the excitement of what the Easter bunny left in their baskets.

Then we headed outside to hunt eggs...

Then we got ready for church. My parents were awesome and stopped by to snap a few pictures before we left.

Our church service was amazing! Wonderful worship music...I loved looking over and seeing Colton reading the screen and singing along. I love the message our pastor presented. How will we respond to Jesus? What kind of relationship do we have with him? There was one point in the sermon where our pastor was talking about how sometimes there is a voice in our heads that says keeps us from growing closer to the lord and makes us think we are not good enough. Pastor Ray said," That is not the voice of Christ." Cooper leaned over and whispered to me, " I know that--it is the devil who says that." I love that he was getting the message. =)

After church, we came home, ate a quick lunch and rested/napped while Carter napped. Then we went to my parents for a yummy dinner and another egg hunt. Yep- that was egg hunt #4. Needless to say we are all egged out but grateful for a wonderful Easter weekend. We are blessed beyond measure!!

We are most thankful for the one who died and rose again. He IS Risen!!!
