4 month check up
Today was Carter's 4 month well check. "He looks perfect" as the Dr said. The shots were not too bad. He didn't cry at all for the first one but the second one(the combo of three in one) hurt him. I am hoping that with the Tylenol his evening will be okay. Here are my BIG baby boy's stats:
Weight- 19.11 lbs (99 percentile)
Length- 27 inches (97 percentile)
Length- 27 inches (97 percentile)
My Carter is so content and fun. He loves his brothers and they love to make him laugh. He is really reaching and grabbing for toys and is getting so strong. I am about to start him on cereal so I am sure you will see pictures of that soon.

Carter is 4 months!
My baby is 4 months old today and I cannot get over how fast the time is flying by. He is just precious and I still can't believe how blessed we are to have him. My Carter can light up a room with that toothless grin and those chubby cheeks. He hasn't had his well check yet but I know he is really close to 20 lbs. WOW!! He is our chubby bubby! I will post his stats after his appointment.

Happy Fall!!
I love the Fall! I love that the weather starts to cool down, that the holiday season is beginning, and I loooove pictures in the pumpkin patch. So we made a trip to Bracken's patch this evening and of course I took lots of pictures. My parents, Cody's parents, Laura, Landon and Luke met us there for the fun. We tried so hard to get a good shot of the five cousins together but that is quite an undertaking. Getting a framer is not easy! =)
Colton and Cooper picked out some good pumpkins that we plan to carve or we may cheat and just "decorate" them. I am sure you will see the results on a later blog.
Anyway, I did get some cute shots of my little pumpkins so I had to share them and some of my other favorites with you all. Enjoy!

The Biggest Brother
I just thought I would take a minute to talk about my Colton Wyatt. Lately when I look at him I just can't get over how big is getting. Having him has been a true gift from God! He is so fun to talk to and can really make you think with the stuff he comes up with. I hope he is always as affectionate and thoughtful as he is now. He can make my day with his big hugs and the way he says "I looove you"....so genuine and heart felt. This boy is a great person to hang out with. He is doing so well in first grade and really loves school. Another thing I hope never changes. Drawing is still one of his favorite things to do but riding his scooter is right up there too. He is such a sweet boy. We are so proud of him! Here are a few pictures of the Biggest Brother at our house. The picture of him and Cody cracks me up because they both have really tired eyes.

Time Away
This weekend we took the chance for the five of us to getaway. Hunting season is about to begin and my hubby will be gone a lot so we made a point to go somewhere together before that starts. We headed to the Kemah Boardwalk. We have been there once before but enjoyed it so much we wanted to go back. They were having "Boo on the Boardwalk" so there were some fun and festive things to do. There was Dracula's Monster Magic Show which the boys and Cody took part in. Cody was part of the "knife through the throat" trick. Cooper kept saying to Dracula "Sir--it is just a fake knife right?" Poor thing was so nervous about his Daddy getting hurt. Cody was a good sport. Then the boys were part of an Interactive Pirate Dress Up play. They loved that! We ate at the Aquarium Restaurant which has great atmosphere and scenery. We also got a chance to visit the Stingray Reef and feed/pet the stingrays. Of course, there are fun rides and games all over the boardwalk that we enjoyed too. It was Carter's 1st getaway and he did so good!! It was a very quick trip but oh how I love being away with my boys!! I took lots of pictures and here are some of them.
