Today I figured I would tell you a bit about the two little boys that I adore. Colton is 5 and is getting ready to start kindergarten in a little over a week. I am not dealing well. The thought that someone else will get more hours in the day with him than I will makes my heart hurt. I know, I know...get over it. He is ready and I feel sure he will love it once he is there. (Right now his reaction is "I hate kindergarten!") He loves to be home with Cooper and I. But he is a smarty and needs to be challenged. Lately, he is always ready to correct someone and the scary part is that he is usually right. He constantly cracks us up with the things he comes up with. Here is an example:
Me: "Colton, please stop picking your nose."
Colton: "But Mama there are garden bugs in my nose growing boogers for me to eat."
How do I argue with that?!
Anyway, Cooper is 2 and is an adorable mess. He is so funny and certainly keeps us rolling. But his favorite sayings are " I do it myself!" and "Don't help me!"That can sometimes be a challenge. He loves his "Bubba" and is already amazing us with the things he knows. He is going to start going to the preschool that Colton went to and will go two days a week. I am not really ready for that either but I want to be available to help out at Colton's school at least one of those days. I know my little guy will thrive there just as his big brother did.

Well, hope your weekend is wonderful. Ours should be packed with fun. Today's pictures of the boys are two of my favorites.

I love your blog! Yes, starting school is an adjustment. However, it gives you time to spend with just them. This is my time with Karagen and she knows that Reagan can't interfere. We make sure Reagan is busy so we can work on homework or reading. So really it's a wonderful time. Karagen's going to be in 1st grade. We did pre 1st so she is that much ahead. School will be easy for her forever. Hope Colton has a wonderful 1st dayof school.
I'm glad that I "inspired" you to start a blog! It's fun and you think no one will read it but they do. So far so good on the diet, although it is only 11:30.:)
Good Luck with the 1st day of school.
