Happy New Year!

Well, 2009 will be hard to top considering we received one of the best gifts we could ever get....our Carter Wesley. It has been a wonderful year full of adjustments, excitement, love and fun. We have happily adjusted
to being a family of five and it hasn't been hard since our Carty is so sweet. The big boys love being his big brother, I love being the mother of three boys, Cody is happy to scoop up his wild boys at the end of the day and Carter seems to like it here. =) We have been able to get away together, snuggle by the fire together, hunt together(well Carter and I just sat in the trailer), worship together and laugh together. I am very proud of my family and feel immensely blessed.

I have a few resolutions for myself though:
First, I have got to shed these baby pounds. I am getting back to Jenny Craig asap and going to do it right.
Second, I am going to get active. I am excited to hook up my Wii Fit and get busy. I got the Biggest Loser game so I am hoping to get in shape.
Third, I am going to get organized. I can honestly say that this is where I have noticed that having three kids has affected me most(other than the saggy body parts). The laundry takes over and picking up the house can be a full time job. So time for me to get to work. =)
Lastly, I am going to stop and drop everything more often. When my boys say "Mama will you sit with me and watch this show? Will you push me on the swings? or Watch me do this. " I am going to drop everything(dishes, the phone, the computer) and show them how important they are. The little things are what make us who we are and knowing that their Mama will validate and actively participate in even the small things they do, will keep them feeling loved, secure and confident. (That is just my opinion.)
Anyway, I look forward to all that is in store for us in 2010. I wish for you what I pray for my kids each night. --That you are happy and healthy, safe and secure and that you always know how much you are loved by your family and the Lord above. --Amen.
Happy, Happy New Year!!

Seriously.... you are already SUPERMOM! Don't improve a thing.... I already feel so inadequate in comparison!
