Carter Wesley made his way into this world at 6:20 pm on June 25th. He weighed 8 lbs and 11 ozs and 20.75 inches. With his chubby cheeks and copper hair he is precious! I was induced and Pitocin was started at 8:30 am and things were very slow going. It took until 5:00pm to get to 5 cm and I was getting discouraged. But luckily 45 minutes later I was fully dilated and ready to push. After a practice push the nurse said to wait so we could get the doctor back because he had already turned and was ready to come out. I only had to do one really long push and he was here. YAY!!

Cody and I are also so lucky to have two wonderful fathers in our lives. They would bend over backwards to help us. They are wonderful grandfathers as well. My Dad and I have always been close and now he has a close relationship with my boys. He will do anything to make any of us happy or help us out. I rarely heard no as a child from my Dad and my boys don't hear it very often either. Their Papa loves to spoil them rotten!!!
Cody's Dad is awesome as well. He was obviously a great role model for Cody. My boys have a close relationship with their Opi too. He loves to spend time with them and to give them the fun they want. I sure have some AMAZING men in my life! I feel so blessed that our kiddos are growing up with grandparents that love them so much and want to spend time with them whenever they can. Lucky boys!

Colton has had two verrry loose teeth for a couple of weeks now. One was looser than the other and had a permanent tooth pushing against it. The other was loose too but not as pushed. Anyway, this evening he bumped his mouth on our little garage refrigerator and one of the teeth fell out. After the shock wore off, he was so excited! He called his grandparents and asked them if they wanted to come see. Of course they said yes and rushed over and checked out the newly vacant spot on his bottom gums. Later, his Mammy talked him into pulling the other one. He has safely placed his teeth in a glow in the dark tooth capsule for the tooth fairy to pick up tonight on her evening route. Hard to believe my boy is old enough to be losing teeth.
