Carter's birthday pictures

On Carter's actual birthday, the boys and I (since it was Friday, Cody was at work) had the traditional birthday pancake breakfast. Carter was so intrigued by the candle and went right for it. Colton helped keep him from burning his finger..such a good big brother. We had lunch at Mr. Gatti's with Omi and Opi and Carter played around in the game area. Then my parents came over for a steak dinner and Carter had his first birthday cake. This was his first taste of icing. He loved it and eventually made a huge mess of the cake. He was so fun to wtach. He opened his present from the boys(gumball machine ball toy), Mammy and Papa(stool with his name and money for his savings) and then from Cody and I(Happy Tunes Coupe Car).  He loved it all but especially his car. He loves climbing in and out of it and he does it really well. When you push the horn it plays music and he dances and smiles. He already has good rhythm. =)

Then on Sunday we had a party at the neighborhood pool. It was lots of fun...pizza, swimming, close family and friends. Carter looooves being sang to and just beamed when the whole group of us sang to him. He claps his hands and smiles a big cheesy grin. SOOOOOO cute!!
