Sea Life Aquarium

Still catching up on spring break...
So after we went to Legoland and then napped, we headed over to the Sea Life Aquarium. It was a great way to spend an evening! The boys loved it and Cody and I did too. The walls were covered in "fin facts" and there was a little quiz you took along the way. If you kept the scratch off card with your answers, you could show it to the cashier and she gave the kids a tattoo. Cute idea.
There were plenty of wonderful swimming creatures to see and all three of my boys were enthralled. I couldn't use a flash in most areas so a lot of my pictures are dark. Oh well, we needed to respect the creatures. =)

Here are some pictures of how they had the questions and answer choices done...very cute.

Colton and Cooper held shark eggs and touched starfish. Carter passed on that.=)

These bubbles you could stand up in and feel like you were in the tank were too neat!

One thing I thought was kind of funny, was that Carter didn't like the glass floors that overlooked the stingrays. So this is what he did...
=)

If you are ever in the Grapevine area, I would recommend stopping by this aquarium. It is very cool and you don't need more than a few hours to enjoy it!
We headed home the next day to get back in time for Colton's first baseball game. Our spring break getaway was short but full of fun!
