Pickin' Pumpkins

We made a trip to a local Pumpkin patch this morning and had a great time! Carter has been talking about getting pumpkins since they first showed up at the grocery store several weeks ago. He was so excited and loved checking them all out. He picked a few that he thought were just right. The big boys were all about picking some big and interesting ones. We will be decorating and carving our picks from the patch as we get closer to Halloween. I will be sure to post pictures of the finished products.

Of course, they needed to take a quick ride on the barrel train. My hubby helped out and drove it for a little while. 

Sure love the fall and the fun activities that come along with it! Love spending sweet and simple moments with my hubby and our boys. I especially LOVE these handsome faces!!

Something occurred to me as I was searching the patch for that picture perfect pumpkin(it doesn't exist btw)--all pumpkins have a good side and a bad side, just like most people. Ha!;)
