The break is over.

Well, our Christmas break is over. Tomorrow it is back to the ol' school schedule. =( We have had a great break though. I think since Christmas was right after we got out, the rest has felt kind of low key and relaxing. We have spent many evenings pay per viewing movies and staying up late. Then sleeping in the next day. I have loved it! We also spent a lot of time snuggling and staying warm in our house. We did get out and do a few fun things too. Either way, we have had lots of good, quality time together. I am so thankful for that!! Here are a few things we did in the first week of 2013...

We went bowling with cousins...

We saw Parental Guidance as a family.

It was so good! I definitely recommend it! My big boys(including my hubby) laughed so much. Carter was really good even though he probably didn't get most of it. The popcorn and candy is enough sometimes. =)

We also spent a morning at Inflatable Wonderland getting energy out with the cousins and had a dinner at Peter Piper Pizza. No pictures to post from either.=(

As for school tomorrow, we are ready. Cooper has been asking, "how may days til...?" since about Thursday. Colton says he is ready but doesn't really want to go back yet. The difference between 1st and 4th grade I guess. They both are really looking forward to catching up with their buddies.

As much as I dislike the routine, it is good to get back in it. I need to get busy organizing and cleaning. Believe it or not, we are still working on getting the Christmas stuff put away around here. I have it all in tubs but we still need to get the tree taken apart and get it all in the attic. Sweet Carter was so sad as I was taking down the decorations. He kept saying, "Don't put away Christmas. I want Christmas again." Me too buddy, me too! =)
Sorry for the rambliness of this post. Just getting some thoughts down. =)

Hope everyone has a great start to the week.

I was not looking forward to getting back in a routine either but I think it is a good thing. So cute about him not wanting Christmas to be put away. Jonah asked where the candy canes went to (he's been hauling them around) and I told him they had to go back with Santa. LOL

Glad you all enjoyed the break! My daughter went back to school last week and it was too soon for me.
